MayJune 2008 New Products Graphisoft ArchiCAD In mid-May, Graphisoft released version 11 of its award-winning Virtual Building modeling software, ArchiCAD. The three, main enhancements to this update are to the Coordination (Virtual Trace and Visual Compare elements), Control (Worksheet Tool and Intelligent Markers) and Virtual Building (DWG 2007 support, Google 3D Warehouse, Multi-story hotlink modules and more) functionalities, each of which provide users significant improvements in design, collaboration and drawing generation. Additionally, Graphisoft has released an entry-level version of ArchiCAD 11, called ArchiCAD START, for smaller architectural firms seeking to expand their business with BIM skills.
