Oldcastle Architectural (APG) has added industry veteran Brenda Harris to the company’s management team as director of residential masonry with direct line responsibility to grow market share in the brand’s masonry cladding space.
With more than 30 years of experience with both hardscape and masonry markets, Harris will take a leadership role with several new product lines, such as the Echelon Masonry Veneers’ new Be.On Stone, a mechanically fastened (anchored) masonry veneer that has proven to enhance a building’s moisture deflection properties, improve labor efficiencies, reduce jobsite waste, and can be installed in virtually any adverse climate.
“Oldcastle is well known for setting the standard by which products and innovation drive the entire masonry industry forward,” said Harris. “Now with the consolidation of its brands into Echelon Masonry, it was an opportune and truly exciting time for me to join the Oldcastle APG team and help grow this powerful lineup of brands. Harris began her career at Stewart Building and Roofing Material in Tucson, Ariz. Her career path soon took her to Southern California, where she spent a decade at Orco Block and Hardscape, and more than 11 years leading the sales efforts at the Headwater Stone Division.
