Fred Campbell, President of Creative Masonry Inc. and a triumphant three-time winner of the SPEC MIX Bricklayer 500®, has been honored with the inaugural Masonry Wall Of Fame Award. This prestigious accolade is a collaborative effort between the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) and the Brick Industry Association (BIA).

Upon receiving the honor, Fred Campbell remarked, "I am humbled by the award and really appreciate being nominated and everything that went into giving me this. For me, it’s a pretty big deal, especially coming from my background and just working hard all my life. It’s a big deal for me, and I appreciate everybody who is involved."

The formal presentation of the award to Fred Campbell took place during the proceedings of MASONRY MADNESS® Day, set against the backdrop of the Bronze Lot at the 50th annual World of Concrete. The award aims to acknowledge individuals involved in the installation of masonry products. The plan is to make this an annual tradition, with the Masonry Wall Of Fame Award being bestowed upon a deserving recipient each year.

“We have been building a great relationship with BIA over the past few years, and the Masonry Wall Of Fame Award is a culmination of our work so far. It’s about time that the industry had an award specifically dedicated to recognizing those who spend their time ‘on the wall.’ These people are creating structures that will last forever,” said Jeff Buczkiewicz, MCAA President and CEO.

Fred Campbell emphasized the personal importance of the award, echoing the sentiment that it holds a special place in his heart. As an industry veteran who has dedicated his life to preserving and promoting the craft, he expressed his gratitude to all those contributing to the recognition, underscoring the magnitude of this achievement in his career. The Masonry Wall Of Fame Award not only symbolizes personal success but also serves as a testament to the dedication and excellence exhibited by individuals in the masonry profession.
