Join the MCAA in Scottsdale

Words: Colleen SutterMike and I would like to invite everyone to the 2016 MCAA Midyear Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona. Scottsdale is one of the southwest’s premier resort destinations and its popularity is well deserved. From the moment the sun rises over the Sonoran Desert until long after it sets, there are many things to do and see.

We are excited to hold the Midyear at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa. We chose the Westin for the many options it provides. One of the resort’s biggest attractions is the Adventure Water Park with lazy river, waterslide and flow-rider which is great for the whole family. The Westin provides three 18-hole golf courses, each being unique with its own strategy. One also can’t forget Agave, The Arizona Spa, if you are looking for a spa treatment or workout fitness studio. The Resort is also within walking distance to the Kierland Commons and the Scottsdale Quarter, which provides unlimited shopping, dining and entertainment.

On Sunday evening, we will have the opening reception on the patio overlooking the beautiful golf course while listening to the resort pay tribute to the state’s Scottish immigrants with its “Scottish Pipes at Sunset”.

On Monday morning, while those who are attending to business with Speed Dating, the ladies will enjoy a morning of fun, laughter and painting. Experience not necessary and I promise everyone will have a blast (ladies make sure you register for this as it is an optional event). Golfers will have an opportunity to enjoy the course with some friendly competition on Monday afternoon.

While Tuesday morning is all about business, you will have an opportunity Tuesday afternoon to explore and experience the Sonoran Desert in a way few get to see with a UTV Tour in the beautiful Tonto National Forest. I promise it will be a lot of fun and a whole lot of dust. Not to worry, the guides provide scarfs. We will end our time together that night with the closing dinner overlooking the Golf Course at the Resort with a beautiful Arizona sunset.

We are so excited to have you all come to our home state of Arizona. Should you wish to extend your trip, there are so many other things to explore and experience. For those who haven’t seen the Grand Canyon, definitely a must. Sedona is beautiful this time of the year and we have plenty of hiking trails. The list is unlimited. Please know that Mike and I are here to answer any questions and to make your experience in Arizona one you will remember for years to come.
