Masonry Industry Announces BIM-M 2015 Symposium in April

The BIM-M Initiative representing masonry within the A/E/C industry of the United States and Canada announces that the BIM-M 2015 Symposium will be held in St. Louis, MO on April 9-10, 2015. The Symposium will bring together architects, engineers, mason contractors, masonry manufacturers and suppliers, industry leaders as well software developers and vendors to be exposed to the latest advances in Building Information Modeling for Masonry (BIM-M).

Building information modeling processes are increasing each year as recorded by the McGraw Hill Construction 2014 SmartMarket Report “The Business Value of BIM for Construction in Major Global Markets". The masonry industry is addressing that growth by promoting better processes for designers, suppliers and constructors of masonry projects.

Attendees will learn about the:

  • Latest BIM-M ideas and projects.
  • Developing masonry practices with BIM.
  • Hear from BIM and software leaders.
  • Gain contacts among masonry colleagues and software providers.
