The Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA), in collaboration with the Brick Industry Association (BIA), is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Legendary Craftsman Award Sponsored By BIA. Submissions will be accepted until December 22nd, 2025.

This prestigious award, formerly known as the Masonry Wall of Fame Award, is dedicated to honoring individuals who have spent their careers installing masonry. The award focuses on craftsmen who work on the wall, with a particular emphasis on brick. It is distinct from the Masonry Hall of Fame, which recognizes business owners and instructors. The Legendary Craftsman Award celebrates the skill, passion, and dedication of those whose work creates enduring structures that last for generations.

We are proud to continue the legacy established by our past recipients. The inaugural award was presented in 2024 to Fred Campbell, a three-time SPEC MIX Bricklayer 500® winner. In 2025, the honor was awarded to Mark Sisto, a craftsman recognized for his immense passion for the industry, strong work ethic, and dedication to mentoring the next generation of masons.

The MCAA and BIA encourage the masonry industry to nominate individuals who embody the spirit of this award. If you know a craftsman who has dedicated their career to working on the wall and whose contributions deserve to be celebrated, we invite you to submit a nomination.
