Aggregate Industries Honored with Environmental League of Massachusetts’ Green Star Award

The Environmental League of Massachusetts (ELM) honored Aggregate Industries US’ Northeast Region with The Green Star Award during ELM’s annual Earth Night on Tuesday, May 31, 2016. Aggregate Industries was recognized for its dedication and commitment to creating a healthy environment and a future of clean energy.

“The Environmental League of Massachusetts is proud to honor Aggregate Industries with our ELM ‘Green Star’ award for its corporate leadership in support of clean, renewable energy. Aggregate joined with environmental leaders in meeting with Massachusetts state legislators to urge greater support for solar energy,” said George Bachrach, ELM president. “Aggregate is working with municipalities such as the City of Haverhill to turn a capped landfill into a new solar field. Aggregate’s corporate leadership is important to the Commonwealth.”
