MiTek Industries Inc., a supplier of engineered products, software and systems to the construction industry and subsidiary of Berkshire-Hathaway Inc., announced that its Hohmann & Barnard Inc. subsidiary has completed the purchase of the assets of Astoria, N.Y.-based RKL Building Specialties Co.

Hohmann & Barnard Inc. (H&B) is a manufacturer of reinforcing products, anchoring and flashing systems, vapor barriers and restoration products for masonry construction.
