Big River Industries, Inc., the Alpharetta, Ga.-based manufacturer of expanded clay lightweight aggregate (LWA), has joined the Mason Contractors Association of America's (MCAA) new Strategic Partner Program.

Big River Industries joined the Strategic Partnership Program, which includes 12 companies and was awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, to sponsor and support the organization's mission to advance networking with professional contractors.

"We are pleased to be part of the MCAA's Strategic Partnership Program," says Jeff Speck, VP of sales & marketing with Big River Industries. "Our company goals, combined with those of the MCAA, will enhance the process of establishing new relationships with key contractors and making masonry a more competitive, higher-quality wall system."

Being a partner in the program includes recognition at the MCAA Convention and World of Concrete show; attendance to the MCAA's mid-year meeting; brand exposure on the association's website; and other benefits.

Big River Industries is known for licensing the production of lightweight concrete masonry units (CMUs), called Q-LITE. The company's Q-LITE CMUs are the lowest density blended aggregate units available to the marketplace. They are manufactured using Riverlite rotary kiln expanded clay lightweight aggregate from Big River Industries' Louisiana, Arkansas and Alabama facilities.
